It lets you directly manage the ARPCache area of the Windows registry, which is normally not accessible.

ARPCache is an almost secret and undocumented section of the Windows Registry, and it is used to store information on the objects in Add/Remove Programs in the latest versions of Windows. If you open the Add/Remove programs option in a relatively recent Windows version, you´ll realize that more information is progressively added to each program: size, use frequency, last used ... and none of this appears in the earlier Windows versions. This data is stored in the binary files in ARPCache of the Registry.

ARPCache Viewer works precisely to decypher these binary files and show what is in each entry. Be careful: don´t confuse the ARPCache with the ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) which has nothing to do with this program.

One of the problems in the ARPCache area is that Windows automatically adds these objects to its storage area, but doesn´t delete it when the programs are uninstalled. This is why traces of the programs remain. ARPCache Viewer can be used to clean this ARPCache area, and so you won´t need an external program to clean the Windows Registry.
